The Subversion project is moving to the Apache Software Foundation (ASF)! Hosting of the project, its version control data, issue tracking, mailing lists, and so on, will eventually be handled at Apache. The migration process is not yet complete, but we have already migrated the version control history. So while we'll leave the 'svn' repository hosted on this machine around for a while, it has been made read-only. Chances are good that you'll want to update your bookmarks and habits to point at some of these URLs instead:

Welcome to svn.collab.net, a little server whose only purpose is to host Subversion repositories used by the developers and maintainers of Subversion itself.

What is Subversion?

Subversion is world-class version control software. You can learn much more about what that all means by visiting the Subversion project page.

Server Details

In addition to being the primary corporate sponsor of Subversion's development, the California-based company CollabNet, Inc. has graciously provided this machine — including server-class hardware, rack storage, bandwidth, and the support of its Production Operations team — toward the development and worldwide adoption of Subversion. This machine is maintained by Subversion developers (currently those employed by CollabNet) and generally attempts to run the latest stable releases of relevant software. The list below describes that in more detail:

Additionally, the following customizations have been applied to the above:

Apache:
• Security patch(es) applied
ViewVC:
• Minor stylesheet and template customization
